555 Sardines Stir-Fried Hofan


200 grams Hofan or flat rice noodles
2 tablespoons Cooking oil
1 tablespoon Minced garlic
1/2 cup Chopped onion
2-155 grams 555 Fried Sardines with Tausi
1/4 cup Oyster Sauce
1/4 cup Water or chicken broth
1 tablesponn Brown Sugar
1 cup Bean Sprouts
1/2 cup Spring Onion, sliced
1 teaspoon Sesame Oil


Soak Hofan noodles in water for 30 minutes. Drain and set aside

Heat oil on a wok pan. Add garlic and onion, saute until soft and aromatic. Add sardines and continue cooking for 2 minutes. In a small bowl, combine oyster sauce, chicken broth and brown sugar. Pour mixture into the pan and simmer for a minute. Toss in noodles, beansprouts and spring onion. Drizzle with sesame oil. Transfer into a serving platter and serve.

Serves 3 to 4.

Delightful tip: In case Hofan is not available, you may use other kinds of noodles such as sotanghon, egg noodles, spaghetti or linguine!
