Ingredients
2 tablespoons | butter |
1/3 kg | ground beef |
1 tablespoon | soy sauce |
1 tablespoon | ketchup |
1/4 teaspoon | cumin powder |
To taste | salt and pepper |
1 can | Hunt’s Pork & Beans 175g |
6 pcs | Swift Mighty Meaty Hotdog Jumbo, steamed |
6 pcs | hotdog buns, split and toasted |
2 tablespoons | chopped onion |
2 tablespoons | pickle relish |
1 – 185 grams | quick melt cheddar cheese, grated |
Procedure
Melt butter in a pan, then add ground beef, soy sauce, and ketchup
Stir fry until cooked
Add cumin and season very well. pour Hunt’s Pork & Beans, and simmer for five minutes
Place hotdogs in toasted buns and pour over beef and beans mixture. Garnish with onions, pickles relish, and grated cheese
Serves 6
Delightful tip: The easiest way to steam hotdogs is to cook them in a pan with a little amount of water, about 1/4 cup for every six pieces. Cover and allow to simmer for 5 minutes until hotdogs turn plump.
