Hunt’s Pork and Beans – Dog

Ingredients

2 tablespoons	butter
1/3 kg	ground beef
1 tablespoon	soy sauce
1 tablespoon	ketchup
1/4 teaspoon	cumin powder
To taste	salt and pepper
1 can	Hunt’s Pork & Beans 175g
6 pcs	Swift Mighty Meaty Hotdog Jumbo, steamed
6 pcs	hotdog buns, split and toasted
2 tablespoons	chopped onion
2 tablespoons	pickle relish
1 – 185 grams	quick melt cheddar cheese, grated

Procedure

Melt butter in a pan, then add ground beef, soy sauce, and ketchup

Stir fry until cooked

Add cumin and season very well. pour Hunt’s Pork & Beans, and simmer for five minutes

Place hotdogs in toasted buns and pour over beef and beans mixture. Garnish with onions, pickles relish, and grated cheese

Serves 6

Delightful tip: The easiest way to steam hotdogs is to cook them in a pan with a little amount of water, about 1/4 cup for every six pieces. Cover and allow to simmer for 5 minutes until hotdogs turn plump.
