Century Tuna Pasta Putanesca

Ingredients

250 gramsspaghetti or linguine
1/4 cupolive oil
1 – 184 gramsCentury Tuna Spanish Style (do not drain)
1/4 cupsliced garlic
2 tablespoonschopped capers
1/3 cupsliced black olives
1 teaspoonsground and toasted fennel seeds
1/4 cupdry white wine (or 2 Tbsps. lemon juice)
2 cupsHunt’s Spaghetti Sauce Parmesan Cheese
1/2 teaspoonsalt, or according to taste

Procedure

Cook spaghetti as directed in the package. Set aside

In a pan, heat olive oil and Century Tuna Chunks Spanish Style with its oil and liquid. Add garlic, capers, olives and ground fennel. Stir in white wine and Hunt’s Spaghetti Sauce.

Cover and simmer for 5 minutes to let flavors blend.

Season with salt according to taste

Add cooked pasta and toss well until heated through

Remove from heat and serve

Serves 3 to 4
