Guinataang Bangus Belly

Ingredients

1 -400 gramsCentury Quality Boneless Bangus Belly Unseasoned
3 tablespoonssoy sauce
2 tablespoonscalamansi juice
3 tablespoonsminced garlic
1 tablespoonminced ginger
1/4 teaspoonsalt
1/8 teaspoonpepper
1 teaspoonhot sauce, optional
2 tablespoonsvegetable oil
1 tablespoonminced ginger
1/4 cupminced onions
1 – 400ml Coco Mama Fresh Gata
Fried garlic for topping

Procedure

Marinate Century bangus in soy sauce, calamansi juice, garlic, ginger, salt, pepper and hot sauce for atleast 1 hour.

In a pan sauté ginger and onions in oil until done. Remove from oil and set aside.

Using the same oil, pan fry bangus until done on both sides

Add in sautéed ginger, onions and Coco Mama Fresh Gata

Bring to a boil and simmer until thick

Top with fried garlic before serving

Serves 4

Delightful Tip: To prevent oil splatters while frying bangus, sprinkle some flour or cornstarch on fish after marinating.
