Ingredients
2 tablespoons | cooking oil |
2 teaspoons | chopped garlic |
1/2 teaspoon | minced ginger |
2 – 184 grams | Century Tuna Chinks in Oil, drained |
1 cup | bean sprouts |
1/2 cup | carrot strips |
4 cups | cooked rice |
2-3 tablespoons | bottled terriyaki sauce, or to taste |
1/4 teaspoons | salt, or according to taste |
Pinch of | ground black pepper |
2 tablespoons | chopped scallions |
Procedure
In a large pan, heat cooking oil and sauté garlic, Century Tuna, bean sprouts and carrots
Add cooked rice and terriyaki sauce
mix well until rice is evenly coated with sauce
Cook for about 5 minutes until heated through
Season with salt and pepper according to taste
Transfer to a serving platter then top with chopped scallions
Serves 4
Delightful Tip: Make your own terriyaki sauce by mixing together 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablspoon oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon rice wine, 2 tablespoons brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil. You may use this for fried rice recipe or as a marinade.
