Ingredients
1 kilo | ground pork |
1 – 260 grams | Argentina Corned Beef |
1/2 teaspoon | salt |
1/8 teaspoon | pepper |
2 tablespoons | all-purpose flour |
1/4 cup | pickle relish |
1/2 cup | carrots, diced |
1/4 cup | raisins |
1/4 cup | red bell pepper, diced |
2 | eggs, beaten |
2 | eggs, hard boiled and sliced to wedges |
1 – 260 grams | Argentina Vienna Sausage |
Procedure
In a large bowl, combine the first 10 ingredients from ground pork, Argentina Corned Beef to beaten eggs. Mix until well-blended. Divide mixture into flour
Lay a sheet of aluminium foil (about 10×10 – inches), on a clean surface then brush with cooking oil. Add 1/4 of mixture and spread with a spatula or the back of a spoon.
Arrange the slices of eggs and 2 pieces Argentina Vienna Sausage over pork mixture. Roll up and wrap tightly with the foil. Repeat to make 3 more embutido loaves
Steam for 45 minutes then leave to cool for a few minutes. Refrigerate overnight as it is best to chill embutido completely before slicing. May be served cold or fry and slice before serving.
Makes 4 embutidos.
